Tour Plan
A 4-day private odyssey linking the metropolis of Casablanca to the infinite dunes of Merzouga.
Departure at 07:00 AM. Cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass ($2,260$m). Visit the iconic Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert. Explore the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs" and the Kasbah of Amridil in Skoura. Overnight in a beautiful Kasbah in Dades Gorges.
Walk through the towering Todra Gorges canyon. Continue to Merzouga, passing the fossil-rich Erfoud. Swap your vehicle for a camel for a 1-hour sunset trek into the dunes. Dinner and overnight at a Bedouin camp under the stars.
Watch the sunrise over the dunes. Visit Rissani, the home of the Alaouite dynasty. Cross the volcanic Anti-Atlas mountains and arrive at the UNESCO site of Ait Ben Haddou for the night.
Explore the world-famous Ait Ben Haddou fortress before the final drive back through the mountains to Casablanca. Drop-off at your hotel in the late afternoon.
